The social program includes:

Welcome to Conference at the Sofitel Wentworth Hotel (Tuesday 25 October)

Harbour Cruise (Wednesday 26 October),

A Reception for Public Education (Thursday 27 October)

Conference Dinner “Out of the Blue” (Friday 28 October).

Social program costs:

• Social events are included in the cost of full registration. The cost of social events has been fully discounted using funds raised from sponsorship.
• Day registrants can purchase tickets to all social events at cost (see below).
• Space permitting, tickets are available for partners of conference participants at cost (see below).
• To assist us with catering, when completing online registration, principals will be asked to nominate which social events they will be attending.
• At any time prior to an event, should you decide not to attend, please inform Sandra Armstrong, Registration Coordinator by e-mail: sandra.armstrong1@det.nsw.edu.au or at the conference office once, the conference has begun. This will help to ensure that event numbers are accurate and catering that is not required does not have to be paid for.
• There are no refunds for conference events that registrants choose not to attend, nor are tickets transferable.

Tuesday 25 October, 5:00 – 8:00pm: Welcome to Conference

• Welcome to Conference is a subsidised event with drinks available at a nominal cost ($2.00) per glass for beer and wine. Soft drinks are free.
• Day registrants may attend at cost ($30 plus drinks).
• Partners of registered principals may attend, space permitting, at cost ($30 plus drinks).
• Snacks, but not dinner, will be provided at Welcome to Conference.
• Dress: Casual.
• Venue: Foyer, Level 3 Sofitel Wentworth Sydney.

Wednesday 26 October, 7:00pm – 10:00pm: Harbour Cruise

• The cost of the Harbour Cruise, a social evening on the harbour, is included in full conference registration.
• A three-course meal and drinks are included.
• Day registrants may attend at cost ($120).
• Partners of registered principals may attend, space permitting, at cost ($120).
• Dress: smart casual. Remember, as we are on the harbour it may get a little chilly.  As you have to walk (about 15 minutes) to and from the Sofitel Wentworth to Circular Quay you may prefer to wear flat shoes.

Thursday 27 October, 6:00pm: Reception for Public Education

• The Reception for Public Education is included in full conference registration.
• Day registrants may attend at cost ($80).
• Partners of registered principals may attend, space permitting, at cost ($80).
• Non-registered principals may attend, space permitting, at the discretion of the Conference Convener, at cost ($80).
• Finger food, but not dinner, will be provided at the Reception.
• Dinner may be enjoyed after the Reception at your own expense at any one of the restaurants at Circular Quay or the Rocks near to the Sofitel.
• Dress: Professional attire.
• Venue: Level 3 Sofitel Wentworth Sydney.

Friday 28 October, 7.00pm: Dinner (with pre-dinner drinks at 6.30pm)

• Dinner is included in full conference registration.
• Day registrants may attend at cost ($160.00).
• Partners of registered principals may attend, space permitting, at cost ($160.00).
• Non-registered principals may attend, space permitting, at the discretion of the Conference Convener, at cost ($160.00).
• Dress: Evening or cocktail wear for women and a suit for men.
• Theme: Out of the Blue
• To liven up your attire, flashing novelties will be available for purchase during pre-dinner drinks.  Funds raised will support Stewart House, our conference charity.
• Venue: The Grand Ballroom, Level 3 Sofitel Wentworth Sydney.
• After dinner drinks (at cost) and dancing will be held in the foyer of Level 3 from 12:00am – 2:00am.

Please note that during the conference, candid photographs will be taken and displayed.
